Job Context

Security255 is a cybersecurity and secure development firm operating across France.

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Web & Software Developer capable of designing, building, and maintaining secure web platforms and software solutions for business clients.

This position combines full-stack development, application lifecycle management, and secure coding practices in a cybersecurity-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure web applications and software solutions

  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces

  • Develop robust backend systems and APIs

  • Integrate databases and third-party services

  • Apply secure coding standards and best practices (OWASP principles)

  • Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization

  • Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and fix vulnerabilities

  • Support deployment processes (CI/CD, DevOps environments)

  • Maintain clear and structured technical documentation

  • Assist in secure application delivery and updates

  • Escalate complex development or security-related issues when required

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

2+ years of experience in:

  • Web and software development (frontend and/or backend)

  • Modern programming languages (JavaScript, PHP, Python, Java, etc.)

  • Frameworks such as Laravel, Node.js, Angular, React, or equivalent

  • Database systems (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)

  • Secure development practices

Experience in SME environments or cybersecurity-oriented projects is a strong advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage development tasks end-to-end

  • Client-oriented mindset and professional communication skills

  • Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative workflows

  • Responsible, disciplined, and ethical approach to development

  • Ability to work under pressure when needed

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices is a plus.
